Tattoos

My Style & Booking Approach

The tattoos I create vary widely in size, subject matter, and style. I love playing with contrast, texture, and line weight—balancing fine details with bolder elements to suit each piece. While I have a clear personal style, I always keep the door open to new influences and ideas.

No two bodies are the same, and I believe each tattoo should reflect the individuality of the person wearing it. For example, someone might request an iris. For one person, that might mean a bold, dramatic version—big, camp, full of contrast and flair. For someone else, the same flower might feel right only when done softly and delicately. I love figuring out what works best for you.

Some clients come in with a clear vision, while others aren’t sure what they want yet—and both are completely welcome. What matters most to me is that you feel comfortable expressing your ideas and trusting that I’ll guide you through the process with honesty and care.

That said, I only take on projects where I feel confident I can bring your idea to life in a way that aligns with both your vision and my style. If it doesn’t feel like the right fit, I’ll always be honest—and I’m usually able to recommend another artist who might be perfect for you.

I only tattoo my own original artwork. I don’t work from other artists’ designs, drawings, or tattoos, so please keep that in mind when booking with me.

To make the process simple and clear, my booking form is designed to guide you through everything I need to get started. You’ll know exactly what to send—and what to expect next.

What Does “Freehand” Mean?

Most of my tattoos are done freehand, which means I draw the design directly onto your skin at the start of your appointment—rather than working from a pre-made stencil. This allows me to respond to your body’s shape, flow, and movement in real time, creating something that truly fits you.

Before I start drawing, we’ll spend time together brainstorming ideas. You’ll be very involved in all the key decisions: subject matter, scale, placement, and overall vibe. Once we’ve agreed on a clear direction, I’ll begin sketching on your skin with markers. This part of the process gives me the artistic freedom I need to make the tattoo feel natural and dynamic—while making sure you feel fully seen, heard, and excited about the outcome.

It’s a collaborative and creative process, and many clients find it a really special part of the experience.
