Travelling from Abroad to Get Tattooed

It’s one of the greatest honours when someone chooses to travel from another country to get tattooed by me. I’ll never take it for granted—it truly means the world.

If you’re planning a trip to come and see me, here are a few important things to keep in mind so everything goes smoothly:

✦ Appointment Days

I reserve all weekend appointments exclusively for international clients. So if you’re travelling from abroad, your options are:

→ Saturday & Sunday

→ Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday

✦ Where to Stay

There’s a lovely hotel right next door to my studio, and plenty of great hotels and Airbnbs all around East London. I’m happy to point you in the right direction if you need help choosing!

✦ Planning Your Trip

Everyone travels differently—some clients arrive a day or two early to settle in and explore London, while others come in the night before and fly home the day after.

All of that works!

But please don’t book your return flight for the same day as your tattoo. Working under time pressure—especially on a large piece—is stressful for both of us, and rushing off to catch a flight right after getting tattooed isn’t ideal for your body or your new tattoo. So if possible, I always recommend flying home the following day.

✦ Tattoo Aftercare & Travel

I’ll let you know in advance which aftercare products you’ll need, and if you’re flying home shortly after your appointment, I’ll also provide you with extra materials to help protect your tattoo and keep you comfortable during your flight.

✦ Payment Info

Payment is due in cash, in British pounds only.

You can exchange your currency before leaving home or withdraw from a UK ATM. Just a heads-up: UK machines usually have daily limits, so I strongly recommend getting your cash sorted ahead of time.

I’m unable to accept other currencies (including US dollars), and I don’t accept credit cards or PayPal for final payments. Thanks for your understanding!

✦ Booking Notice & Prep

I don’t need much notice for international bookings, as I keep weekends available just for you.

So yes—you can be a little spontaneous!

That said, if you’re getting a design that requires lots of preparation or won’t be done freehand, the more notice I have, the better.

✦ Language Support

Don’t worry if English isn’t your first language! I speak English, German, Spanish, and Russian fluently—and for everything else, we’ve got Google Translate. These days, we can even use it to chat in real time. We’ll manage just fine!

✦ How to Book

The booking process is the same for everyone:

Head to the ‘Booking’ section on my website.
Fill out and submit the booking form.
Once I confirm your appointment, you’ll be asked to pay a deposit of £105 via PayPal (£100 deposit + £5 transaction fee).

And that’s it! You’re all set.

Wherever you’re coming from, I can’t wait to welcome you. It’s always such a joy meeting clients from all over the world—thank you for choosing to make this part of your journey.

See you soon! ✈️🫶🏼
